25¢ Everything Music Sale at The Great Escape
If you know me, you know I love a bargain. The Great Escape on Charlotte Ave. held a "25¢ Everything Music Sale" yesterday and I wasn't the only one looking for deals.
As part of the festivities, The Record Ramblers (Bob Irwin & Tim Hibbs) had pulled from the cheap stacks and were spinning tunes. Quite inspirational for egging the diggers on to search just one more box for that hidden nugget.
Didn't do too poorly myself. And I only spent $20!!!

The Nashville School of the Arts 6th Period String Orchestra performed this piece last evening. My daughter Anastasia plays the viola with them. Bravo!

12 South Farmer's Market - Opening Day
Yesterday was the first 12 South Farmer's Market of 2013 which is held at Sevier Park on Granny White Pike.
We got there a couple of hours after it started and already most of the produce was sold out!
The foodtruck The Grilled Cheeserie was packing them in. Quite a long line.
We decided to indulge ourselves and bought some desserts for our tea time from these bakers.
Yum! Two Vanilla Iced cupcakes and two peppermint patties. And all of it with locally sourced eggs and milk. We are making plans for our return trip.

Fabio Armiliato as Giancarlo in Woody Allen's comedy To Rome With Love as he attempts to sing opera outside of the shower. A fine example of Woody at his absurdist best and one of four vignettes in the film.
